Annual Organization Meeting
The Plainfield Board of Education welcomed their newly elected members during their Annual Reorganization Meeting
(For Complete listing of Board Agenda Items, please refer to Executive Summary). Re-Elected Board Members Wilma Campbell and Martin P. Cox, along with First-Term Board Member Christian Estevez, were joined by family, friends and the Plainfield Community as they took their oath of office in order to begin their three year term on the Board. As part of the Organizational Meeting, the nomination and election of Board President was the first order of business on the Agenda. Mrs. Patricia Barksdale was unanimously elected as the New Plainfield Board of Education President. After the nomination and voting process was complete for the Vice Presidency, Ms. Bridget B. Rivers assumed the seat as New Plainfield Board of Education Vice President.
