Dr. Annette Kearney of New Brunswick passed away on June 12, 2007. Dr. Kearney served as the Plainfield Superintendent of Schools from August 1987 to September 1993. She taught elementary school, served as Director of the National Council of Negro Women's Youth Programs, and ran her own consultancy as a counselor prior to coming to Plainfield in 1983 as Director of Special Services. We at the Plainfield Board of Education as part of her extended family mourn her passing.
A viewing shall be held on Friday, June 15, 2007 from 5 - 6:45 pm at the
